Kwame Thomas

Thomas is still only 24, but has fallen by the wayside a little after a promising start to his career. He appeared for England at Under 16, Under 17 and Under 20 level whilst on the books of Derby County, and seemed to have a bright future. A move to Coventry City didn’t work out as planned and he ended up dropping into the National League with Solihull Moors.
He then secured a deal with Doncaster Rovers after impressing on trial but again flattered to deceive. Last season he penned a short-term deal with Birton Albion, but the Covid-19 crisis helped ensured he only appeared a couple of times before moving on. Thomas is surely in last-chance saloon in the third-tier, but he’s the right sort of age for a club to take a cut-price gamble, given his pedigree.
