Lincoln City, Doncaster and Swindon striker hunt – eight free agents they could still sign

Dominic Samuel

Mowbray: More to come from Samuel - News - Blackburn Rovers

Samuel was recently close to a move to Championship new boys Rotherham United, but that has collapsed and once again left him in limbo. It’s believed that Coventry City could come in for the 26-year-old, who had six years at Reading prior to signing for Blackburn.

However, it is a buyer’s market right now and Samuel may find he has to drop into League One to get a deal, if Coventry do not end up making a move. He scored eight in 41 for Blackburn as they were promoted out of League One a couple of seasons ago, as well as enjoying football in the lower levels with Coventry, Gillingham, Dagenham and Colchester during loan spells.
