Lincoln City, Doncaster and Swindon striker hunt – eight free agents they could still sign

Omar Bogle

Portsmouth sign Omar Bogle on loan from Cardiff | Football News ...

There are not many clubs that haven’t been linked with Bogle over the last 12 months. His former employers Grimsby Town recently ruled out a move for the 27-year-old, whilst his name often appears on message boards and social media forums when speculation on new signings is discussed. Bogle, who began his senior career with Hinkley after serving West Brom as a kid, helped Grimsby Town into the Football league in 2015/16, bagging 19 times. The following season he hit 13 before a surprise move to Wigan Athletic.

Since then, he’s had something of a nomadic career, seeing action for Portsmouth, Cardiff, Peterborough, Birmingham and ADO Den Haag, where he appeared five times last season. He’s now without a club and should have plenty to offer in the third tier, even if regular goals have eluded him since leaving The Mariners.
