This carries on a bit from the last one, doesn’t it? Imagine, a sweaty little boy in his Mum’s back bedroom links your League Two club with a move for Exeter’s Randell Williams, a player you’re never going to get. Williams then joins Hull and out comes the indignation of missing out on a target. Yup, Sutton United definitely missed out there, didn’t they? Blame the manager for a lack of ambition, the chairman for not ‘opening his chequebook’ and lament Willaims for choosing to play Derby and Forest in front of 30,000 fans rather than Forest Green in front of as many people as there are in your local Tesco at 3am in the morning on a Sunday.
