The Bluebirds have struggled in front of goal, with their three across the same time period being the joint second lowest across all Championship sides. But with the poor defensive records of both sides, it could feed into plenty of goals. Should Callum Robinson feature in this game, both sides could contribute to this total.

The first game of Jack Wilshere’s temporary stint in charge was perhaps a better performance from the final games of Johannes Hoff Thorup’s tenure, drawing to Middlesbrough. Cardiff’s relegation fate has been sealed and are yet to pick up a win under Aaron Ramsey and have not delivered on the pitch. With the outstanding attacking talent on the pitch for Norwich, they should be able to edge Cardiff even if their defence can’t prevent a Bluebirds goal.

His tenure began with a goalless draw with Middlesbrough, a result which put Michael Carrick’s side in serious jeopardy of missing out on the top seven. Norwich can rise as high as 12th place by the time the curtain falls on the season, but could plummet to 17th.
Cardiff City’s greatest fears were realised last weekend, with a goalless draw to West Bromwich Albion sending them down to League One next season. The Bluebirds have also undergone a managerial change, with the decision to appoint Omer Riza as a permanent manager failing. Injured midfielder and Wales captain Aaron Ramsey was put in temporary charge for their matches against Oxford United and The Baggies, both ending in a draw. Cardiff will hope to avoid finishing bottom and should they win and Plymouth Argyle fail to beat title challengers Leeds United, they will leapfrog The Pilgrims.

Cardiff have won six, and their most recent matchup went the way of the Welsh club 2-1.
