Five Potential Destinations For Portsmouth Defender Sean Raggett

Oxford United

One team who could use Raggett in their back line is Oxford United, the side has seen themselves fall down the table this season and sucked into the relegation battle which continues at that end of the table as they sit 17th in the league with all but one of the teams below them having at least one game in hand.

Not only have Karl Robinson’s U’s side failed to register a win so far in 2023, but they have also failed to record a single clean sheet, the last time they kept a clean sheet was in December when they played out a 0-0 draw with league leaders Sheffield Wednesday. You have to imagine that if the club knew this run of form compared to Wednesday’s current run of form, they would be ecstatic with that point at this moment.

Another side with a poor discipline record, this time it is worse than the previous teams mentioned however, as Oxford have picked up 70 yellow cards and three red cards this season. As is the norm for many teams, those cards are coming from the back four, but with a record like Raggett’s, he would be a welcome addition to the U’s backline.
