The 34-year-old had five seasons in the SPFL with Dundee United, won Premier League promotion with Cardiff City and has most recently been a regular for Blackburn Rovers.
He’s not getting any younger, but if Jason Shackell can reinvent himself as a lower-league defender with experience, why not Conway? Even as a winger he’s likely to be comfortable dropping to full back.
