Bolton Wanderers Capture Loan Deal For Exciting Winger

Bolton Wanderers have secured the services of Brighton and Hove Albion winger Amario Cozier-Duberry on a season-long loan deal, as revealed by the club’s official site.

The winger is Bolton’s seventh signing of the summer.

More Attacking Threat Added To Squad

Cozier-Duberry’s addition to the Bolton squad adds yet more attacking prowess to manager Steven Schumacher’s options, after the additions of Thierry Gale and Sam Daley.

The Brighton man heads to the Toughsheet Stadium after a loan spell with Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers last season. Cozier-Duberry made 23 appearances in all competitions for the Ewood Park side but his spell was somewhat disrupted by injury.

Manager Schumacher spoke to the club’s official website about his latest signing.

“He arrives with huge amounts of potential and the staff and I are really looking forward to working with him and helping him to develop and grow as both a person and as a player.”

“Having tracked him closely for a while, we know he is someone who loves to attack and have the ball at his feet – and like Thierry – offers us a profile of player that we have been looking for throughout this summer.”

“With his previous experiences, especially playing in the Championship last season, we know he has the ability to succeed in a Bolton shirt. With our pre-season trip just around the corner, Amario arrives at the perfect time to easily bed into the playing group ahead of the upcoming campaign.”

Easy Decision For Winger

Upon signing for the club, Cozier-Duberry spoke of the ease of his decision and how he can’t wait to get started.

“I’m feeling good and I’m really happy to be here.”

“There wasn’t much of a decision for me to make because once I had spoken to Fergal and Steven, my mind was made up. The conversations were good and they spoke about how much they believe in me and had faith in me, and I want to show that on the pitch.”

“The club has big ambitions, and I’m proud to be part of such a big club. I can’t wait to get in, interact with the lads and get going.”

Writer’s View

Lots will be expected of Cozier-Duberry and Bolton Wanderers this season. His Blackburn Rovers loan wasn’t as successful as he would have hoped and he will need to perform well during his season in League One to kick-start his senior career.
