Blackburn Rovers defender Connor O’Riordan is poised to rejoin Crewe Alexandra on loan, according to a report from the Lancashire Telegraph.
The 21-year-old centre-back, who recently returned to Ewood Park after a brief spell at Cambridge United, is expected to return to his former club in League Two to gain more regular game time.

O’Riordan initially left Blackburn in August to join League One side Cambridge United, where he made eight appearances, including four in the league. However, his loan spell was cut short, prompting Rovers to explore new opportunities for the defender.
