Just two weeks remain before the new League Two season kicks off, filling supporters with anticipation of what may lie ahead. We challenged our writers to have a go at predicting the final table. Who do we think will be celebrating come May?
The fourth tier of English football consistently throws up surprises. More often than not, those that have come up from the National League tend to be just as competitive in the EFL. Wrexham secured back-to-back promotions last season, whilst Stockport County were crowned champions in only their second year in the division.
Chesterfield and Bromley are the latest pairing to try their luck after navigating their way out of non-league. It is the Spirites who are expected to challenge at the top end of the table after running away with the National League.
MK Dons are also one of the favorites after pushing the top three all the way prior to their capitulation in the play-offs. Meanwhile, the four teams dropping down from League One will be hoping their stay in League Two is a brief one.

Final Predicted League Two Table
The team think that MK Dons will recover from last season’s play-off heartbreak to secure the title, whilst Doncaster Rovers‘ stunning end to the campaign is tipped to continue. They will be joined in promotion by Port Vale, who are predicted to return to League One at the first time of asking.
The top seven is completed by Carlisle United, Crewe Alexandra, Bradford City and Chesterfield, the latter of which will be delighted if they can reach the play-offs in their return to the EFL. From that quartet, four of our writers feel that Carlisle will emerge victorious at Wembley for the second time in three years.
At the other end, Bromley survive by the skin of their teeth. However, the same cannot be said for Newport County and Morecambe, who finished 23rd and 24th in our poll respectively.
