Left-back – Josh Earl (Fleetwood Town)

Starting at left-back is Fleetwood Town’s Josh Earl, who is the league’s most valuable left-back, valued at £800k.

Earl joined Fleetwood in the summer from Preston North End following 74 appearances for the Championship side and so far this season, he has gone on to make 30 appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring once as Scott Brown’s side sit 17th in the league.

The 24-year-old has also played for the likes of Bolton Wanderers, Burton Albion and Ipswich Town in the past.

Centre-back – Di’Shon Bernard (Portsmouth – on loan from Manchester United)

One of the two defenders on this list is Portsmouth defender Di’Shon Bernard, who is currently valued at £3.5 million.

The 22-year-old defender joined the club on deadline day on loan from Manchester United in January and has only made two appearances for the club so far in the short time he has been at the League One side.

Bernard, who also spent time on loan at Salford City in League Two, has played Championship football in the past, most notably with Hull City last season where he made 28 appearances for the Tigers as they finished the season 19th in the Championship table.

Centre-back – Mads Juel Andersen (Barnsley)

Partnering up Di’Shon Bernard amongst the backline is Barnsley defender Mads Juel Andersen, who is the second most valuable defender in the league with a value of £2.5 million.

The Danish 25-year-old has been on the books of the South Yorkshire based side since July 2019 since joining from Danish side, AC Horsens and has gone on to make a total of 157 appearances for the club.

So far this season, Andersen has made 33 appearances in all competitions for Michael Duff’s side as Barnsley currently sit in the play-off places in sixth.

Right-back – Conor Bradley (Bolton Wanderers – on loan from Liverpool)

Coming in at right-back in this team is Bolton Wanderers’ Conor Bradley, with the Liverpool loanee being valued at £1 million.

The 19-year-old swapped Merseyside for Bolton when he joined the club for the season in the summer and has made 36 appearances in all competitions for Ian Evatt’s side, scoring six and assisting six in the process.

Before being loaned out for his first real taste of men’s football, Bradley was a product of Liverpool’s youth academy and has even made 5 appearances for the first team in the past.
