George Evans
George is a 28-year-old midfielder who started his career at Manchester City before moving to Crewe Alexandra on loan. He has had spells at Walsall, Reading, Millwall, and most notably Derby County. Evans has played under Jody Morris in the Derby setup where he appeared for 1776 minutes across the two seasons, moving on to Millwall in the 2020 to 2021 season.
His sample size at Millwall is relatively small due to him only playing 201 minutes this season, but from those, his ball progression has been sublime with an 81.8% completion rate in this time. This would be an immense signing for Swindon as we are lacking depth in the midfield, and could Jody Morris be the pull that he needs to try and kickstart his career again?
