Leam Richardson
Leam started his managerial career at Accrington where he ended his career, he worked his way up to becoming the full-time manager, he then proceeded to go from Chestfield, Portsmouth ending up at Wigan as the assistant manager. Leam was then made the caretaker manager, however, this was made permanent after one game, Richardson took over for 116 games. However, it didn’t end so well as he was most recently sacked by Wigan Athletic much to the dismay of the fanbase. He had the best win percentage of any previous manager in the 21st century and had started his reign with just a bare-bone team of academy players, in doing so he gave the club loyalty. It is known that he has a good relationship with current technical director Sandro Di Michele who could play a key part in bringing Leam into the club.
Wigan Athletic are now unbeaten in their last 14 matches under club legend Leam Richardson.
In August, they dumped rivals Bolton Wanderers out of the EFL Cup.
In January, they've dumped rivals Blackburn Rovers out of the FA Cup.#wafc pic.twitter.com/33QomOcp6O
