Legends, real legends, come in all shapes and sizes. Few go seven months without a goal in their first season, and still end up being synonymous with the campaign’s success. In 200/03, Yeo didn’t score in the league after 21st September until the final day of the season. His goal still secured a play-off place, and two more the week after put Scunthorpe to the sword in the semi-finals. He wrote his name in history with another at Glanford Park in the second leg.

Never far from controversy, Yeo was sent off after half an hour of the opening fixture the following season. In total, he netted 51 Lincoln goals in two spells and has been seen on the terraces in the years after supporting the club.
