Free Agents Sunderland, Ipswich and Charlton Could Still Snare

Achraf Lazaar

This could be a bold signing, but for a club like Sunderland, a left-back is crucial. Could they get over the fact his last side was Newcastle United? If so, 29-year-old Lazaar would be a bold statement signing.

The Moroccon international has seen his career fizzle out after a stint with Parma in Serie A. He only made nine appearances for the Mags, and had a loan spell with Sheff Weds which hints at a willingness to drop down a division, so why not two for the right club?

Any side will have to act quickly though, as Watford are thought to be close to a deal.
