Dyer appeared in the Championship last season for Swansea City, but has been without a club since leaving them in the summer. He is exactly the type of player likely to fall onto the radar of bigger League One clubs – experienced and perhaps needing a little more financial enticing than your typical League One journeyman.
The winger was a Premier League winner with Leicester City in 2016, as well as a League Cup winner with the Swans.
