The former Millwall man has been a part of a silent revolution at Port Vale. Buoyed by the change of ownership in the summer, the Valiants have looked much better under John Askey than his predecessor and they’re certainly on for a play-off tilt if nothing else.
Worrall’s xG of 17.79 for goals and assists means he should be on 18, rather than the modest 15. That’s not to say he’s been a disappointment, not at all, but it rather hints at better things to come from a man who has impressed enough already this campaign.
