The former Hamilton and Tranmere striker has certainly put himself about for Burton this season, with the third-highest rating for assists and goals. What might be disappointing for Brewers’ fans is that his actual haul is only 11, making him a little wasteful when it comes to converting good positions.

His last action of the current season before coronavirus broke things up, was to miss a penalty against Lincoln. However, you can’t score (or assist) if you’re not in the right positions and Akins is making sure he’s always available for his side.
