ROSS McCORMACK

33-year-old McCormack went from hero to zero after signing for Aston Villa for an eight-figure fee. He fell out spectacularly with Steve Bruce and has since slipped down the football spectrum. A loan spell in the SPFL was cut short and he’s played in Australia too.

His wage demands could well be a problem but, if he wants to keep playing football, he might drop down to a reasonable wage to get some games under his belt.
