TOM CARROLL

27-year-old midfielder Carroll started life with Tottenham Hotspur and was once tipped for the top. His prospects have since taken a bit of a dive though; he made 85 appearances for Swansea City in a three-year stay but was released at the end of his contract and has yet to find a new club.

His pedigree would be perfect for a League One club looking to add experience and a touch of quality to their deep midfield area.
