Swindon Town managerless again, we look at the candidates

Swindon Town are once again on the lookout for a new manager after sacking Phil Brown, despite their in in the FA Cup against York City.

The former Hull City boss only took over from David Flitcroft during last season, but he’s been unable to arrest their slide and they find themselves 17th in League Two.

All too often the expression ‘too big to go down’ seems to be bandied about and whilst in Swindon’s case relegation isn’t an imminent threat, the board feel they should be doing much better, hence Brown leaving yet another job.

It doesn’t bode well for the former Bolton player, he’s slowly made his way down the divisions and it would surely seem this is his final foray into football management.

The decision leaves Swindon looking for yet another manager, so The Real EFL have decided to run down the three main candidates for the job, in no particular order.
