Real EFL Preview Show Play-Off Special Now On YouTube

It’s Play-Off Final weekend – and The Real EFL Preview Show is here to guide you through it.

Gary Hutchinson is joined by Kyle Kennealey to break down the biggest stories across the EFL, with three huge promotion deciders front and centre.

This week’s episode opens with a look at the managerial shake-up at Notts County. After just 16 months in charge, Stuart Maynard has been relieved of his duties following play-off disappointment. Gary and Kyle analyse what went wrong, and explore who could be next in line at Meadow Lane. There’s also a quick glance at the National League play-off final as one more side prepares to return to the EFL.

Then it’s on to the main event — a trio of showpiece finals across all three divisions.

First up, it’s a heavyweight clash in the Championship as Sheffield United face Sunderland in a battle of two promotion-hungry giants. The Blades’ long-running curse in the play-offs is well documented, but could this finally be the year they break the cycle? Sunderland, meanwhile, are hoping to repeat their Wembley success of three years ago and return to the Premier League. With both sides finishing just outside the automatic spots, it’s set to be an epic showdown.

Next, it’s Charlton Athletic vs Leyton Orient in a League One all-London affair. The Addicks edged past Wycombe in a drab semi-final, but can they raise their game at Wembley? For Orient, a return to the second tier would end a 40-year exile. As underdogs, they’ll relish the chance to spring a surprise.

Finally, AFC Wimbledon take on Walsall in the League Two final. The Dons have been defensively rock solid, but will that be enough against a Saddlers side that, despite stumbling late in the season, found form when it mattered most?

Don’t miss The Real EFL Preview Show for expert insight, predictions and all the key talking points ahead of the EFL’s biggest weekend of the year.
