Venezuelan wonderkid Luis Fernando Carrero has emerged as a transfer target for multiple English clubs, with both Premier League and Championship sides tracking the highly-rated attacker.

TEAMtalk has revealed that Hull City and Norwich City are among the Championship clubs keeping a close watch on Carrero, who has been making waves in Venezuela’s top flight. The 18-year-old, currently contracted to Deportivo Táchira until December 2026, has drawn attention for his technical ability, versatility, and creative playmaking.
Capable of operating as a left-footed winger, attacking midfielder, or a No.10, Carrero’s style has led to comparisons with Colombian icon James Rodriguez. His vision and control on the ball have impressed scouts, with reports suggesting Premier League clubs have also entered the race for his signature.
European giants take notice
While English sides remain firmly in the hunt, Carrero has also attracted interest from teams in LaLiga and Portugal’s Primeira Liga. His rapid development and ability to dictate play at such a young age have made him one of South America’s hottest prospects.
