These League One Players WILL Play In The Premier League Part 2 – Opinion

This is the second part of our two-part article on which League One players we feel will play in the Premier League at some point in their career.

This is completely opinion-based, and I’m sure there will be plenty of other League One players who will make it to the Premier League that I haven’t included.

As I mentioned in the previous article, there have been players who have settled into the Premier League after playing in the lower leagues and players who have struggled.

These League One Players WILL Play In The Premier League – Opinion

It may not be as high quality as the Premier League; however, it certainly is brilliant for player development, especially physically. With the likes of Harry Kane, Callum Wilson, and many more top talents who played in League One at earlier stages of their careers.

I have decided not to add players that have already made a Premier League appearance but then been loaned out.

For example, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, although he has only played two games for Crystal Palace and now is on loan in League One, has still made a couple of Premier League appearances and will not be included in my five for today.

The first part of the article included four players on loan from Championship or Premier League clubs, so in part 2, I’ve decided to include players who aren’t on loan.

So with that being said, before I jump into the five names, I would like to give a special mention to a couple of players who just missed out on the list.

Jevani Brown (Exeter), Aaron Morley (Bolton), Luca Connell (Barnsley), Jason Knight (Derby), and Terry Taylor (Burton)
