Portsmouth are in discussions with Manchester United over a loan move for defender Di’Shon Bernard, according to Simon Jones of The Mail Online.
The 22-year-old is looking to secure a third loan move away from the club, after enjoying successful spells with Hull City and Salford City.
He debuted in November 2019 for the first team, appearing in a 2-1 Europa League loss to Astana, but has never played a competitive game for the club since.

Bernard is a talented defender and has enjoyed spells successfully in League Two as well as in the Championship, it would be a surprise to see him drop down to the third tier after becoming such a popular player at Hull City. However, it was a change in manager that saw his first team run end, as he predominantly was dropped to the bench for the remainder of his time at the club.
Having just recovered from a hamstring injury though, a drop down to the third tier could be his best option to get some first-team minutes under his belt once more, the experience from a higher tier is something that would be vital to both parties in this regard applying that to a different league could be beneficial for player and club.
Bernard is versatile also having featured at right-back on occasion but is primarily used as a centre-back, spending these next six months on loan could work wonders for his career, and he could even look to make a permanent move having not featured for so long.
Portsmouth fans, another defender linked with your club, could this be the one that joins up?
