Matt Smith
A name Swindon fans will recognize for the infamous Twitter account; Matt Smith is a 22-year-old midfielder who is under contract at Premier League leaders Arsenal. He started his career at the Arsenal academy before having loan stints at Swindon Town, Charlton, and Doncaster Rovers. This season Matt has appeared multiple times on the bench for the league leaders, however, in the academy he is the captain of the under-23 sides and is a role model to the younger kids in the academy, having featured 14 times and contributing three goals in that time.

Arsenal will look to move Matt on as he is at the crossroad of his career, he had a strong spell at the club during covid times. With a talented ex-midfielder likely to become the Swindon Manager could that potentially persuade him to join the League Two outfit in Swindon Town.
Who would be your choice?
