Ipswich Town have been dealt a blow as striker James Norwood is ruled out for at least six weeks with injury, as reported by their official site.
The former Tranmere Rovers striker is expected to be out for at least a month and a half, which is a setback for the Blues, who sit top of the table with three wins from three.
Norwood hasn’t been amongst the goals, but he has made five outings for Paul Lambert’s side, leaving them just five days to find a replacement ahead of the transfer window closing. The injury might be a blow, but it isn’t as bad as the club first feared according to Lee O’Neill.
Have you tried our Ipswich Town sticker quiz?
That what he deserves for going out for a meal mid week 😡😡😡 so unprofessional 😡😡😡

WTF goes on at town? Is the training pitch up to standard? Are you pushing them to hard on weights? Not warming up properly?
WTF is it @IpswichTown ?

Please advise – are there plans for an on-line supporters meeting this autumn? It would be good to pitch the question, in a polite & constructive manner, as to what the club feels might be, or is, the reason why there have been so MANY injuries suffered by players in recent times

Sure nobody is more fed up in terms of not playing and scoring goals than the player himself. Patience and perseverance, head down and try to be back for Christmas 👍
