Bradford City have signed striker Lee Novak from League Two rivals Scunthorpe United for an undisclosed fee.
The thirty-one-year-old has signed a contract that ties him to the Bantams at least until the summer.
The experienced forward arrives in West Yorkshire with over three hundred and fifty league appearances to his name, having played for Huddersfield Town, Birmingham City, Charlton Athletic, and Chesterfield in his long career.
He joined the Iron in August 2017, going on to make one hundred and six appearances, scoring twenty-six goals.
He’s scored seven goals in twenty-four outings across all competitions so far this season and will bolster Gary Bowyer’s attacking options after the high profile departures of Eoin Doyle and James Vaughan.
Bradford City fans were hoping this is the first of several signings today when they took to social media to react to the news.
However, most seemed underwhelmed by their latest addition, a feeling that was perhaps not helped by poor reviews from Scunthorpe fans, with many Iron supporters reporting the striker is now well past his best.
Plenty of Bantams fans felt the latest addition was a downgrade on the strikers who have recently left the club.
Here is a selection of responses to the signing on Twitter.

Okay now give us more

Current goal scoring ratio is one very four games. We have 16 games left, therefore expect him to score four goals. Or he just do a ‘Doyle’ and go on a rampage with our attack minded free flowing fluid football. #bcafc
