MK Dons made in seven matches without a win last night as they went down 2-0 away at Rochdale.
Under-pressure boss Paul Tisdale was hoping to build on their 0-0 draw with Coventry City at the weekend but getting something from the encounter at Spotland, but they were behind as early as the third minute after Callum Camps’ vicious volley.
The Dons, who have scored twice in their last nine fixtures, were never likely to come back from being a goal down. Deflated and dejected they ploughed on without any reward for their efforts. Callum Brittain had their best chance but he saw his shot sail wastefully over the bar from 18 yards.
Rochdale’s evergreen striker Ian Henderson added a second to send the Dons home empty-handed and leave them just a point above the dropzone.
Paul Tisdale, who took them to third place in League One last season, is coming under fire from some sections of the support. His transfer dealings over the summer have left a little to be desired and his side are desperately short of attacking intent.
They have a tough tie at Fleetwood this weekend, followed by a relegation six-pointer against Tranmere Rovers. Failure to get at least three points from those games will leave him staring down the barrel of a gun.
These fans on Twitter already think enough is enough.

His done all he can for us, well out of his depth in league 1. We have to players to survive but not with him.

I dont demand a change of manager yet. But Tis has to accept things are really not going well. His team selection and tactics are not working. Its the managers job to change that and give the team confidence. 8 games 1 goal tells you everything. You cant keep doing the same.

Pathetic, it is his fault. Wrong set-up, wrong tactics, players out of position. Don't let this go on Pete Winkelman, help the man, get some decent players.

He is happy. Clever enough to sign a 2 year rolling contract. Cost a lot to sack him
