1st – Aiden McGeady (Sunderland)

Who else? Two points ahead of everyone is 33-year-old McGeady, still an important player for the Black Cats and one of the few to remain from their demise over the last few seasons. McGeady has played for Celtic and Everton and reached a high of 82 in FIFA 13.

He’s dropped two leagues and ten points, but he’s one of the few players outside the Championship likely to get a highly-rated Team of the Week card.

If he can stay injury-free for Sunderland, he’s likely to et a trophy at the end of the season as well.
