Coventry City have signed Bristol City midfielder Liam Walsh on a season-long loan subject to EFL approval.
The twenty-one-year-old is a product of the Everton Academy and enjoyed EFL loan spells with Yeovil Town and Birmingham City before making a permanent move to Ashton Gate in the January 2018 transfer window.
Walsh signed a two and a half year deal with the Robins for an undisclosed fee, and he’s gone on to make nineteen senior appearances including seven starts in the Championship, scoring one goal.
The young prospect has also represented England at Under-16, and Under-18 level and the signing was greeted with delight many by Sky Blues fans which will have only increased when they read the comments of Robins supporters who quite clearly rate Walsh very highly.
