Blackpool are keen on Derby County defender Calum Macdonald according to journalist Alan Nixon.
Nixon is usually a reliable source of transfer information, and he revealed the Tangerines interest via a tweet.

The twenty-one-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for the Rams, but he’s been included in their match-day squad on several occasions. He had a spell on loan in the National League last season, making twenty-one outings for Barrow.
He is well thought of at Pride Park winning their Under-23 Player of the Year award in 2016/17, form which earned him international recognition when he was called up the Scotland Under-21 squad, making his debut against Macedonia in October 2016.
The versatile left-footed defender is predominantly a full-back but can slot into centre-back if required.
Our View
We are not experts on the Derby County age-group sides so cannot comment too much on Macdonald’s ability.
But reports suggest he’s highly rated at Derby.
One thing is clear: Grayson is building a decent squad at Bloomfield Road and a promotion challenge for at least the Playoffs seems likely.
