Brentford are seriously keen on Blackpool’s highly-rated defender Marc Bola and have made a bid in the region of £750,000 according to journalist Alan Nixon.
Nixon is considered a reliable source of transfer rumour, and he’s followed up his tweet of yesterday in which he stated Brentford were interested in the twenty-one-year-old by this morning claiming the Bees had made a bid which has been rejected by the Seasiders, who he claims are looking for more for their sought after full-back.

Luton Town have also been heavily linked with Bola, but it now appears Brentford are leading the chase.
The Arsenal academy product only joined the Tangerines last summer following his release by the North London giants, but he enjoyed a successful season at Bloomfield Road, notching up forty-three appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
His impressive form saw Blackpool exercise the option to extend his initial one-year deal by a further twelve months at the end of last season, but also led to speculation they could face a battle to keep hold of their star asset, and this now appears to the case.
Our View
Bola grew in confidence and benefitted from a full season of senior football in 2018/19, and it is no surprise to Blackpool fans Championship clubs are interested in him.
He is pacey, technically excellent and loves to get forward.
Some fans feel he was arguably the Seasiders best player last season.
Most supporters will also back the club stance and feel that if he is to go, they would be under-selling him at £750,000.
