18-year old Korrey Henry has joined Southern Premier League outfit Poole Town, initially for just a month, as he seeks first team football.
He’s made just three substitute appearances for the Glovers so far in 2018/19, with their excellent form making it tough to break into the first team.
Henry is a product of West Ham’s Academy who signed a one-year deal in the summer, after impressing din a pre-season trial.
He made his professional debut against Mansfield in August and also featured against Aston Villa in the League Cup. His final outing came at Meadow Lane as Notts County were beaten 4-0.
Henry is clearly a boy with potential, but that’s no good if you can’t get a kick.
Darren Way obviously wants him to get a bit of first team action at a senior level to bring out that potential.
