One of the results of the weekend came at Rodney Parade as Newport were humbled 6-0 by Yeovil.
The Exiles were woeful, having started the day joint top the defeat meant they lost touch with the leaders, Lincoln City. It isn’t the first time Yeovil have sprung a surprise away from home, they’re becoming a dark horse in League Two after many felt they’d struggle.
There wasn’t a single positive to be gleaned from the horror show, but fans on Twitter seem to be at ease with the result. 23-year old Josh Sheehan played midfield in the debacle and he took to social media to offer his apologies to the fans for the abhorrent display.
Rather than receiving a barrage of abuse, or a round of smart comments and cutting wit, his message was met with positivity. Most fans used that awful buzz phrase ‘we go again’, but one in particular made us laugh at Real EFL HQ.
At least we’re not Notts County. Quite.
Here’s some responses

At least you've got the balls to apologise Josh, well done!! Having said that it was a shocking performance, anyway see you all at Tranmere.

Yes, it was our worst performance of the season but it’s just one game! Lets just hope that bad game is out of our system! 😔
We are normally very good at bouncing back from defeats! So onto Tranmere away on Saturday, I for one will be there supporting the team! 💛🖤⚽️

Was you injured? Because you was the only one putting a decent pass in first half so shocked to see you go off! Pick yourself up pit that horror show away and go again #UTC
