Carlisle United have reunited Jack Sowerby with his former Fleetwood Town boss John Sheridan with a short-term loan deal.
The 23-year-old found himself appearing regularly for Sheridan as he guided the Cod Army to safety last season.
Now the midfielder joins his old manager, as well as Fleetwood coach Paul Murray and forward Ashley Nadesan on-loan at the League Two side.
His six month deal at Brunton Park will end on January 30.
he’s found himself surplus to requirements under new manager Joey Barton, who has pushed Fleetwood to sixth in the early league table. Meanwhile, Sheridan’s Carlisle are fighting at the top of League Two, sitting fourth going into the weekend’s games.
Sheridan has pulled a rabbit out of the hat here, Sowerby looked comfortable in League One last season and will be an asset to his new team mates in the north west.
