Wycombe Wanderers have seen a bold move for Barnsley captain Luca Connell knocked back by the League One side.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who has grown into a key figure at Oakwell, is now the subject of serious interest from a fellow third-tier rival.

Mike Dodds’ side are reportedly keen to bolster their promotion credentials by targeting Connell, a player who made 46 appearances in all competitions last season and clocked over 3,600 minutes.
