Altrincham’s fight to get into the playoffs took an expected hit at the weekend with a loss to Barnet, and will take this opportunity to hit back quickly. Time is running out and as they sit two points away from Rochdale in seventh, the last playoff place, they are not just looking at their own form, but also that of those above them as they try and chase down a pack that has largely been the same for some time.
