Jackett, who transitioned into this leadership role in January 2023 after over 25 years in management, has been instrumental in shaping the team’s direction alongside Gillingham’s ownership.
In a statement, Jackett expressed his gratitude to the club’s owners, Brad and Shannon Galinson, reflecting positively on his time at the club. He remarked:
“I want to thank Brad and Shannon for the last couple of years; I’ve enjoyed working at Gillingham. In Mark [Bonner, manager], the club has a great guy managing the team, and I’m sure he and the club will do well. I wish everyone the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
