Welcome to the first podcast from the growing TheRealEFL team!
This special episode is hopefully the first of many, with our team looking back at the first leg of the play-off matches, and casting our eyes forward to those all-important second legs. Can Sheffield Wednesday overcome a four-goal deficit? Who’ll find the moment of quality to separate Bolton and Barnsley? Will Bradford finally get back where they belong? Can Stockport do everyone a favour and keep Salford out of League One for another season?
Introducing your hosts, Liam Chew and Hannah Brown. Hannah is an editor for The Real EFL and a lifelong Stockport County fan. She lives by statistics and data, is ruled by ridiculous match-day superstitions, and is committed to convincing everyone that they need Ted Lasso in their life.
Liam is almost the complete opposite of Hannah, often found on Twitter in an argument; he is a Bradford City fan (but not one of THOSE Bradford City fans), absolutely loves League Two, and is one-half of The Lower League Look Podcast with the far more sensible Grant!
Between them, they’re discussing all things League One and League Two play-offs, and to help them do it, we’ve got Kelan Sarson, a delighted Peterborough fan, and Gary Hutchinson, wondering why a Lincoln City fan should have anything to say on Barnsley and Bolton.
