AFC Wimbledon have completed the signing of Diallang Jaiyesimi from League One side Charlton Athletic on loan until the end of the season.
Diallang is a 24-year-old winger who is currently contracted to League One club Charlton Athletic. He primarily plays as a right winger, featuring 13 times contributing to two goals this season.
Jaiyesimi joined Norwich from Dulwich Hamlet in July 2016. He went on to feature for Grimbsy Town and Yeovil Town. The winger went on to join Swindon Town in July 2020, he was a shining light in a struggling side which drew the attention of Charlton, who came in for him on deadline day in the eleventh hour on February 2021.

Charlton currently sit 15th in League One, following the sacking of Ben Garner. Dean Holden has been keen to make additions to the squad this window having taken over following a disappointing start to the season for the Addicks.
Wimbledon currently sit 11th in League Two after a steady start to the season and only sit three points off the playoffs with manager Johnnie Jackson looking to add reinforcements to help bolster a promotion push.

My bias will be here but I love this signing, Diallang is an immense player and has the talent to be an incredible signing. He is a quick fast and dynamic winger who can both ways.
It never really clicked at Charlton which is unfortunate for him but a move to Wimbledon could help him unlock his full potential. With a manager who trusts him and wants to play him.

Very happy with this signing. He was outstanding against us at Plough Lane last season. Our manager knows and rates him highly. I expect DJ to establish himself in our first 11.
