Macaulay Gillespie
Macaulay started his career off at Newcastle before his loan spells out to Carlisle United where he spent the majority of his early playing career. In the 2019 season, he departed for Australian side Brisbane Roar on a free transfer where he would feature 52 times contributing to eight goals in that time.
This led to Plymouth coming calling for his services, he joined Argyle in the 2021 season and featured 47 times in the 2021 season. However, he has fallen out of favor this season where he has featured as an LWB and as an lcb in a three.
The 27-year-old strengths play to Swindon’s style of play with his strong passing ability, not only this he loves a strong tackle. As well as this he has experience and is a leader.
