Bolton Wanderers player of the year Dapo Afolayan linked with German side St Pauli who are in the second division in Germany, this is according to The Hamburg Abenblatt.
Dapo, 25, is currently under contract to League One side Bolton Wanderers, where he plays as a versatile left-sided attacker. He has featured in 29 games this season contributing to ten goals this year. He is now being touted to the German side who seem to be in the market to try and elevate their league position after a bad start to the season.
The forward joined Bolton from west ham on loan in February 2021 before making the move permanent in the summer of 2021. In last year’s season, he won player of the year for Bolton hitting 19 goal contributions across the season. Bolton currently sits fifth in League one and is chasing promotion to the Championship
Ian Evatt refused to comment on the rumors after he was left out of the squad for the Papa John’s Trophy quarter-final against fellow League One side Portsmouth.

I think that Dapo would be a huge loss for Bolton, he adds versatility along the frontline and dynamism that Bolton fans like. He has contributed heavily to the time that he has been at the club.
