CHELTENHAM TOWN

The Robins may have surprised a few people this season, but under Michael Duff, they have seen remarkable improvement over the course of the season. On the PPG basis, they leapt above Exeter City to finish fourth, setting up a tie with Northampton Town.
They go into the game with goalkeeper Scott Flinders still recovering from a broken leg, so expect Owen Evans to deputise. Josh Debayo is also a doubt as he’s struggling with a groin injury. However, with eight goals and six assists, Ryan Broom is likely to be available and he’ll be key to their progress.
The Robins were in startling form prior to the break, winning six matches out of seven, including a 2-1 victory against Northampton on February 25th. They favour a 5-3-2 which could neutralise the more direct approach favoured by the Cobblers. Many have Cheltenham down as favourites for promotion and whilst they certainly are again Northampton, anything could happen under such extraordinary circumstances.
