Bradford City fans have reacted angrily after their side were beaten 2-1 by Newport County yesterday, but much of the anger is still aimed at previous boss Gary Bowyer.
Stuart McCall is back in charge of the Bantams, but midtable Newport came from behind to dent lingering Bantam’s hopes of achieving a play-off spot.
It wasn’t all bad for the visitors; veteran striker Clayton Donaldson gave them the lead midway through the first half. It didn’t last long though, a header from Ryan Inniss drew the Exiles level on 28 minutes.
Within five minutes the hosts took the lead with what proved to be the winning goal. Scot Bennett rifled the ball past Richard O’Donnell to seal the quick turnaround. Despite a Jake Reeves coming close to levelling, the visitors were sent home with nothing to show for their endeavours.
Bradford have now only won once in their last 11 league games, spanning Bowyer’s rein and that of McCall, sinking to ninth in the table, four points off the pace for seventh spot.
That’s prompted some fans to lash out on social media, as they see another season threaten to end on a sour note, as the last two have.

The poor sods, give em a break! Why is it always them that are outstanding? How about the team stepping up for a change? 😏

If only they had a decent team to support; one with fight and guts and skill, the ones that win matches.
