Salford City; you either love them or hate them. They’re not a universally popular team for the method by which they’re looking for success. Having had a strong transfer window, pressure has increased on their key players, one of which kicks off our top five.
Thomas-Asante missed much of October and November, but has risen to the challenges presented by new faces of late. He’s got five goals from 11 starts, all five coming after Christmas. With his record of notching 3.08 shots per 90 minutes, expect him to add a few more as they hunt a play-off spot.
