Shooting: that’s what the game is all about. If you don’t shoot, you don’t score. If you don’t score, you don’t win.
We said exactly the same yesterday when looking at League One strikers who shoot the most and in the last 24 hours, it hasn’t changed one bit.
It’s not always about quantity though: the league’s top goalscorers are Eoin Doyle and Nicky Maynard, but they’re only third and fourth in the overall shots table and neither feature in the most shots per ninety minutes.
So, Which strikers in League Two have more shots on goals per 90 minutes than anyone else? Remember, this is worked out as an average and takes into account players who only have a handful of shots per game, or those who don’t get as many minutes as most.
Crawley, Crewe, Salford, Carlisle and Scunthorpe make up the top five, but which players, and how are they positioned? Read on to find out.
