Sunderland are one of several clubs keeping tabs on West Brom youngster Rayhaan Tulloch according to the Daily Mail.
The Black Cats are eying a potential loan move for the forward as they look to bolster their misfiring attack but face fierce competition for the versatile forward who can play as a striker or on either wing.
Tulloch has made two senior appearances from the bench for Albion in the FA Cup, but he continues to impress in the Baggies Under-23s. He’s scored three goals in his last four games, and a host of clubs are tracking his progress, including Leeds United, Stoke City, and Wigan Athletic.
The report also claims Premier League scouts from Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Southampton, and Newcastle United have been spotted watching the eighteen-year-old.
Tulloch has been at Albion since the age of nine but is aware first-team opportunities are limited amid strong, experienced competition in Slaven Bilic’s high-flying squad. With reports suggesting Bilic could make a January move for another experienced striker in January, Tulloch is considering his options, with a loan move in January, a possibility for the youngster whose contract at The Hawthorns expires in the summer.
Our View
Sunderland are likely to be linked with every striker available for a move in January; just as they are in every transfer window.
We feel there is nothing to see here for Sunderland supporters, with Tulloch either heading for a loan in the Championship or a permanent move to a Premier League side.
