Bolton Wanderers are no strangers to controversy, whether it’s administration, cancelled and postponed games or the latest allegations made about stewarding at their ground.
At present, both Fleetwood Town and Bolton have released statements regarding the allegations that were made on Saturday and the Trotters have vowed to investigate all reports they’ve received. They’ve said; “The Club treats allegations of this nature very seriously and we are investigating all the reports we have received.”
Keith Hill’s side have been through turbulent times of late, cancelling a Championship fixture against Brentford after a number of the first team squad went on strike. There’s been no punishment for that as yet, nor for postponing a game against Doncaster Rovers earlier in the season around concerns over player welfare.
Doncaster believe they should be awarded the points for that fixture and it’s led to some resentment between the two sets of fans. Bolton fans claimed that they should then get the points for their fixture with Lincoln City, cancelled because of the weather.
Now, with these latest issues arising, it’s given a couple of fans the chance to lash out once against at their new found rivals, which you can find below amongst some of the other responses.

To be honest I’m a Bolton fan but some of our stewards are absolute pricks that mainly target picking on kids

Fleetwood got slapped up by blokes in fluorescent orange coats. 10 point deduction at least.

I saw Fleetwood trying to intimidate stewards and raising hands to them with no response from the stewards…wanted a reaction, got one, got kicked out. Now crying about it. Grow up. Never had a problem with any stewards…because I don’t act a fool. #bwfc
