Portsmouth fans endured more heartbreak this weekend as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Oxford United.
Pompey languish in 15th place in the table but have only lost one in eight in all competitions. That won’t placate their supporters though, who are seemingly growing tired of manager Kenny Jackett’s negative perceived negative tactics.
Jackett must be wondering what his side have to do to turn draws into wins. They were held 2-2 by Bristol Rovers last week, despite being 2-0 up and seeing the visitors only have one shot on target all game.
The same happened yesterday, they contained a promising Oxford side, led from a 58th-minute Gareth Evans penalty and yet still managed to concede a last-gasp leveller to cost them all three points.
Whilst Matty Taylor made the draw feel like a win for the visitors, his goals only heaped more pressure on Jackett, who has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks.
These Pompey fans have had enough, although they’d had enough six or seven weeks ago but with each winless game, their anger rises.
It's bad how little i care

@Michael_Eisner ….. deal with this please, itās embarrassing and gone on too long, how long can you continue to back a manager who is not delivering results ? Appreciate heās signed a long term contract and sacking him will cost but action should have been taken weeks ago

Raggett is very decent centre half. We've conceded 5 goals in 7 games. Defence is not an issue. Sixteen shots, five big chances, one goal today. There's your problem right there. John Marquis's job is what again?

Given you the benefit of the doubt for too long Jackett. Leaving Harness on the bench is criminal. Resign.
